In de medische start van het gezin heeft Stephanie het gemist om een luisterend oor te hebben mogen ontvangen. Lotgenotencontact in het Engels is toch nog iets meer een unicum, maar daarmee niet minder gewenst. Daarom biedt zij haar taalvaardigheid als native speaker aan om een luisterend oor te bieden aan ouders van couveusekinderen. In the medical start of the family, Stephanie missed being able to receive a listening ear. Contact with fellow parents in English is somewhat more unique, but not less desirable. That is why she offers her language skills as a native speaker to offer a listening ear to parents of premature and dysmature children.
